Hi there! I’m Dr. Megan Woodley, and I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals. My adventure in veterinary medicine kicked off right after I graduated, when I had the incredible opportunity to work as a government veterinarian in South Africa. That experience, along with many hours spent volunteering in animal welfare, really solidified my love for small animal medicine and public health.

When my husband and I moved to Australia, I found my perfect fit at Suncoast Vet. Here, I focus on internal medicine investigations and provide detailed patient care, which I absolutely love. One of the highlights of my job is performing soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. It’s so rewarding to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families!

I also believe that every pet deserves the best in pain management, which is key to compassionate care. My aim is to be a trusted partner for pet owners, working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for your furry companions. Shared Animal stories: Childhood Dog was a Labrador; he helped me through tough years of high school, and he was my best buddy. He ended up with a chronic condition and passed away. This started my interest in becoming a vet.
